Description
Nos 124 and 125 on High Street is a building that likely dates back to the 17th century but has undergone alterations and rebuilding, probably in the late 18th century. It features a three-storey timber-framed front above cellars, with a moulded cornice and a small parapet that conceals a gabled dormer at the back of No 125. No 124 has two three-light 18th-century sash windows, while No 125 has three sash windows with moulded architraves. At the rear, there is a small two-storey 17th-century building that has four gables on the west side, each with an overhang at both floors. The cellar beneath No 125 contains some walling that may be medieval. All the listed buildings on the south side of the street form a group.
