Description
Meadow Cottages is a pair of cottages in one building, likely originating from the 17th to 18th century, but they have been restored. The structure is two stories high and constructed of coarsed rubble with a red tile roof, featuring four large tile-hung gables, each fitted with modern casement windows. On the ground floor, there are two three-light renewed stone mullioned windows and two plain stone door frames. The first floor has four two-light stone-framed windows that retain ancient mullions. The building includes two moulded stone end stacks with modern red brick shafts. On the north side, there is a modern pent roof that partially covers a single-light stone-framed window at the top of the gable. At the back on the west side, there is a large tile-hung gable and a single-light stone-framed window.
