Description
Brasenose College Chapel, located in the Second Quadrangle, dates back to 1485. It features a reused roof from the 15th century, likely crafted by Humphrey Coke, originally from St Mary's College, along with a plaster vault created in 1659. The carver Simon White worked on the chapel, and the panelling was done by John Wild of London. The roof has undergone repairs in 1744, 1859, and 1895, while both the roof and walls were repaired in 1779, 1819, and between 1848 and 1869. The eastern side of the chapel has been refaced.
