Description
St John's Home is a building dating from 1873 to 1891, designed by C. Buckridge and J. L. Pearson in the Elizabethan style. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features two storeys and an attic. The façade includes two and three-light mullion and transom windows with drip-moulds above, as well as oriel windows. There are string courses at each level, and the roof is gabled and tiled, topped with massive stacks.
