Description
The Lamb and Flag Inn, located at 12 St Giles' Street, is a building dating from the 17th century that was refronted in the 18th to 19th centuries and has since undergone alterations. It features a three-storey front made of stuccoed timber framing, complete with a moulded cornice, a parapet, brick stacks, and a Welsh slate roof. The facade includes three sash windows with glazing bars and a coachway on the south side. Inside, there is an early 18th-century fireplace surround located in the back wing. The inn is part of a group that includes Nos 1, 11 to 17 (consecutive), 19, 20, Black Hall, part of Queen Elizabeth House, and Nos 22 and 23.
