Description

No. 22 on High Street is a house and shop dating from the late 18th century. It is a three-storey building constructed with stuccoed timber framing and features two-light sashed dormers beneath a mansard roof covered in Welsh slate. The first and second floors each have two sash windows set in plain frames, with the windows on the first floor adorned with moulded architraves. In 1934, the top floors were converted into rooms for Brasenose College. The shopfront was modernized in 1961. This building is part of a group of listed buildings on the north side of High Street.
