Description

The Queen's College East Range, built in 1485, is located in the front quadrangle. The southern half of the staircase was constructed between 1733 and 1735. The central and northern sections, known as the Michael building, were built from 1757 to 1760 by William Townesend (the grandson) and King, who were masons, along with carpenter Robert Tawney. The inner facade has been refaced.
