St John's College, Cook's Building, dates back to 1485 and is located in the North Quadrangle. The Kitchen, which extends north along the street front, was added around 1555 and retains some 15th-century work. It was enlarged in 1612 and rebuilt between 1642 and 1643 by the mason John Jackson. Inside, the first floor features some early 17th-century and 18th-century panelling.
