Description
66-68 High Street is a house and shop that likely dates from the 17th to 18th century but has been altered over time. The building is three stories tall, constructed of stuccoed rubble with cellars, and features a band at the first floor and a moulded eaves cornice. The central part of the building projects slightly forward. The roof is hipped and covered with Welsh slate, featuring two dormers, each with double sash windows. Each floor includes a three-light sash window, and the doorway of No 66 has a plain frame and fanlight. Nos 67 and 68 have modern shop fronts, with No 68 displaying a three-light canted oriel window extending through the first and second floors. All the listed buildings on the south side of the street form a group.
