Description

No 28 to 32 on St Michael's Street, dating from the mid 19th century, is a red brick building featuring small shops on the ground floor with workshops above, all in their original configuration. It has a central entrance leading to the rear and stands two storeys tall. A large window spans the upper floor, and the building is topped with a hipped slate roof. Notably, the rear part of No 32 is constructed on the remains of No 2 bastion of the City Wall. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 26 to 36.
