Description

Court Place is a house located on Church Way, dating back to 1485. It was likely rebuilt in the 18th century, although the southeast range appears to be from the 17th century. The building is three stories tall, constructed of rubble with a hipped roof made of stone slate and features cement-faced stacks. It has sash windows with glazing bars. A reset date stone on the north side of the building reads "1580 I.L." indicating it was associated with John Lewys.
