Description

17 St Giles Street is an 18th-century building with 19th-century alterations. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features decorative bands at the second floor and parapet levels. The building has three storeys and two windows. On the left side, there is a two-storey 19th-century bay with an original tripartite sash window above it. On the right side, there is a 19th-century doorway with a panelled door and original tripartite sashes above. The parapet is present, but the roof is not visible. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 1, 11 to 17 (consecutive), 19, 20, Black Hall, part of Queen Elizabeth House, and Nos 22 and 23.
