Description

Godstow Abbey is a building from around 1485 located on the south side of Godstow Road. It features a rectangular enclosure made of mainly medieval rubble walling. The east wall has a blocked doorway, and there are two blocked archways in the north wall. In the southeast corner, there are remains of what is likely an early 16th-century chapel, possibly part of the Abbess's Lodging. This section is also constructed of rubble and retains a stone frame for the east window.
