Description
The Fox Inn is a public house, likely built in the early 18th century, with some parts possibly dating back even earlier. It was altered in the late 18th century. The building is constructed from colourwashed limestone rubble and features wooden lintels, topped with a Welsh-slate roof and brick end stacks. It is probably designed with a central-stair plan and has two storeys that have been raised to three.
The front of the building has three windows, with a central doorway flanked by canted bay windows on the outer sides. To the left of the door, there is a narrow window. The first floor features 9-pane sash windows, while the second floor has leaded 2-light casements. Additionally, the wall displays two bolection-moulded 18th-century panels between the first-floor windows, along with a wider panel situated between the first and second floors. The interior has not been inspected.
