Description
Weavers' Cottages is a pair of cottages dating from the 18th century, located on the north side of Goudhurst Church Road. They are constructed with a timber frame and are tile hung on a ground floor made of red and blue chequered brick, topped with a plain tiled roof. The cottages stand two storeys high on a plinth, featuring eaves that drop to the first floor and a half-hipped roof. There are stacks located at the center and projecting at both ends. The windows are regularly arranged, with four 3-light leaded wooden casements on the first floor and a mix of two 2-light and three 3-light wooden casements on the ground floor. The entrance features two central boarded doors set in simple surrounds. Although they look identical to the adjacent cottages numbered 3 to 7, this pair is likely a later addition to the Weavers' Cottages.
