Description

The War Memorial is a First World War memorial, built around 1918, made of freestone. It features a Celtic cross with a tapering shaft that stands on a base of three steps. The shaft is intricately carved with an interlace pattern of oak leaves. Inscriptions commemorating the Second World War have been added alongside those from the First World War.
