Description

Little Sponden is a house dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It features a three-bay lobby entrance design and is constructed with a timber frame, covered in weatherboarding on a brick plinth, with a brick ground floor on the side elevation. The roof is half-hipped and covered with old tiles, and there is an off-central brick chimney stack. The house has two storeys and attics in the gable end, with four casement windows. A large 19th-century wooden and brick weather porch is also present. Inside, there are two bread ovens.
