Description

This is a house, likely originating in the 16th century or earlier, and substantially altered in the 19th century. It was originally located on Sharp's Hill but is now on Queen Street, Sandhurst. The ground floor is painted brick, while the first floor is clad in weatherboarding. The roof is tiled, with a half-hip design and a tall, late 16th-century brick chimneystack positioned off-centre. The building has two stories and three windows, which are modern casements. A doorcase features a flat hood supported by brackets, sheltering a six-panelled door with glazed upper panels. A weatherboarded L-shaped section extends from the rear. Inside, an open fireplace reveals 16th-century brickwork. The remainder of the interior was not inspected.
