Description

Dundale Bridge is an early 19th-century bridge made of red brick and sandstone. It features a single elliptical brick arch constructed with three brick courses over the river, supported by sandstone footings and arch springing. The upper side walls are reinforced with three iron anchor ties. The parapet walls rise approximately three feet above the road level and are topped with stone coping, including splayed end sections. While part of the bridge is located in the Wealden District of East Sussex, the remainder lies in Kent, specifically in Lamberhurst parish.
