Description

The chest tomb to Daniel West, who died in 1846, is located about 15 metres south of the Church of St Mary. It is made of stone set on a rendered brick base and features iron railings. Originally, it was situated on a railed platform, but only the stumps of the supporting elements remain. The chest has a moulded base and fluted and reeded corner piers, along with bead-moulded panels that have cut-off corners and a moulded top slab.
