Description
This is a group of five chest tombs located about 10 to 25 metres southwest of the Church of St Mary. They date from the late 17th century to the early 18th century and are made of stone. The group includes a row of three nearly identical chest tombs featuring panelled sides and wave-moulded corner pieces, which appear to be crude attempts at urn-shaped designs, along with moulded top slabs. There is a fourth identical chest tomb nearby, accompanied by a less ornate, monolithic, and earlier chest tomb that still retains a moulded top slab, situated closer to the church. All inscriptions on the tombs are worn, and they have sunk into the ground, making them illegible.
