Description
Stream Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse that has been altered in the 20th century. It is a timber-framed building with the ground floor covered in weatherboarding and the first floor finished with tile hanging. The roof is tiled and features end red brick chimneystacks. The farmhouse has two storeys and three windows, which are 20th-century casements. The central entrance has a doorcase with a six-panelled door, where the top two panels are glazed. It is surrounded by an early 19th-century beaded surround with paterae and a 20th-century gabled hood supported by brackets. Inside, there is an open fireplace, and the building was originally designed with three bays.
