Description
Fairseat House is a house dating from around 1800, with an enlargement circa 1850. It is constructed of red brick and has a low-pitched slate roof with a cornice and bracket details. The roof features a central ridge stack and side slope stacks, along with two dormers. The symmetrical front elevation has five windows, with original glazing bar sashes and gauged flat arches. However, the two ground-floor windows on the left have been replaced with a one-storey square bay and an oval window. All windows retain Venetian shutters. The main entrance is at the rear of the house. A two-storey, four-bay red brick wing is attached to the right, featuring a pyramidal hipped slate roof and glazing bar sashes with gauged flat arches.
