Description

The Man of Kent Public House is a building that originally served as a house and cottage, dating from the 17th century. The ground floor is constructed of brick, while the first floor features tile-hanging, with some exposed framing visible on the ground floor. The structure has a central half-hipped gable that slopes down to the right as a catslide. It has a plain tiled roof and stands two storeys high, with an irregular arrangement of 19th and 20th century casement windows. To the left, there is a short ridge over a one-storey extension that includes a projecting shop front with an entrance and a semi-dormer above.
