Description

The former goods shed at Wateringbury Station is a railway building dating from the mid-19th century, constructed for the South-eastern Railway. It is made of red brick and features a slate roof, with a single rectangular space. The long walls have a four-bay arcade that is mostly blind, except for lunette windows with iron glazing and stone cills. The gable walls each contain a large elliptically-headed doorway. There is a small gabled extension on the west end, and the gables have coped verges. This goods shed has seen little alteration and is associated with a fine contemporary station.
