Description

This is a late 19th-century urinal, manufactured by Dalton Engineering of London and Paris, with a roof added later. It is constructed from patented pre-fabricated cast-iron panels, arranged with six panels along the length and two panels across the width, featuring a ventilation panel at the top. The central panel displays a six-pointed star, a central floral emblem, and scrolls, while the lower panel is adorned with floral motifs. Inside, it retains the maker's name and the original glazed stoneware urinal slabs. A similar urinal once existed at Ellington Park in Ramsgate, but it has since been removed.
