Description
17, 18, 19 and 19A Albert Terrace are buildings dating from around 1840. They are four storeys tall with a basement and are finished in stucco. The ground floor features rusticated detailing. Above, there is a parapet with balustrading and a pediment. The buildings have a total of nine sash windows, with the three central windows slightly projecting beneath the pediment. Some of the glazing bars remain intact. The first floor includes a cast iron balcony, while the ground floor has round-headed sash windows. The doorways are also round-headed and feature semi-circular fanlights.
These buildings, along with Nos 3 to 19A, form a group, as do Nos 13 to 19A with Nos 20, 20A, and 21 Marine Gardens.
