Description
North Eastling Farmhouse is a hallhouse that has been converted into a house. It dates from the 15th century and was clad in the early 19th century and mid-20th century. The building is timber framed and covered with red brick, topped with a plain tiled roof. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring a hipped roof. The right end section was rebuilt in the 20th century and includes one hipped dormer. There are stacks positioned to the right, centre left, and end left in a catslide outshot. Each floor has three wooden casement windows, and there is a central door made of four raised and fielded panels, topped with a flat hood. Inside, the farmhouse features a crown post roof with smoke blackened timbers, a chamfered chimney surround, and a stack that has been inserted into the screens passage.
