Description

This is a row of cottages dating back to the 16th century, which was re-clad in the 18th century and extended in the 19th century. The building is timber-framed and originally covered with mathematical tiles; the extension is red brick with a plain tiled roof. The cottage has one storey and an attic, with a hipped roof to the right, featuring four dormers and chimney stacks on the right and at the left end. The right-hand side has two wooden casement windows and a segmental bay window on the ground floor. A central section has three half-glazed doors, with flat hoods supported by brackets, positioned centrally, to the left, and at the right end.
