Description

Hinds House is a large 18th-century house on the east side of High Street, Milton Regis. It is two storeys and a basement, built of red brick with a parapet. The building has a wooden eaves cornice decorated with modillions. Five sash windows with intact glazing bars are visible. A doorcase with four steps leads to a door framed by engaged Ionic columns, a pediment, a semi-circular tympanum, and a six-panelled, moulded and fielded door. Hinds House is part of a group which includes numbers 52 to 76 (even), 80 to 104 (even), 104A, and 110.
