Description

This mid 19th-century lime kiln is located 30 metres north of Putt Cottage in Norton and Buckland. It is constructed of red brick and features a brick-lined trench that descends 12 feet deep and extends 30 feet in length, leading to an arched entryway into the kiln. At the rear of the kiln, there is a chamfered extraction hole.
