Description

These stables, located 20 metres north-west of Stuppington Farmhouse, date back to the 17th century. They are constructed with a timber frame and weatherboarding, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building is one storey high and sits on a brick plinth, featuring a hipped roof with a cast iron ventilation pipe and half-doors on both the left and right sides. Inside, there are four bays, with stalls and fittings still intact. The roof structure includes clasped purlins and wind braces.
