Description
Victoria House is an 18th-century house, dated 1752, with an extension from the early 19th century. It features a chequered pattern of red and grey brick and has a plain tiled roof. Originally designed as a two-cell lobby entry, it has a later bay added to the right. The house is two storeys high and has a brick cornice beneath a hipped roof, with stacks at both the left and right ends.
The front has a regular arrangement of windows, including two wooden casements with a central window space and a glazing bar sash added to the right on the first floor. On the ground floor, there are two segment-headed wooden casements alongside a central door made of six raised and fielded panels, topped with a flat hood. A segment-headed glazing bar sash has been added to the right of the door. To the left, there is a wooden and glass conservatory. Above the door, a plaque reads: M. 1752. I. E.
