Description

Beesfield Farmhouse, dating to the 18th and 19th centuries, comprises two parallel ranges. The main south-east range has an 18th-century exterior, partly altered and now faced with weatherboarding. It has a tiled roof and four sash windows with intact glazing bars. A gable end faces the road. An older portion at the north-east end has a lower elevation and a pentice roof. A red brick chimney breast is situated at the junction of the two sections. A 19th-century brick addition, now painted, forms the north-west range, featuring three windows including two canted bays. The central doorway is framed by a cornice and pilasters.
