Description

59 and 61 High Street are a pair of cottages dating from the 18th century. They feature a brick front with a dentilled brick eaves cornice and a hipped tiled roof. Each cottage is two storeys high with two irregular windows. The left cottage has a projecting part under a hipped gable. The windows are a mix of 19th century and modern casements. Behind No 59, there is a timber-framed wing that dates back to the 16th century or earlier, with sections filled with brick and rendered surfaces. This wing has a high-pitched tiled roof and an old compound stack.
