Description

Truggers Farmhouse is a timber-framed house appearing to date from the early 17th century. It is a two-storey building with three windows. The roof is hipped and covered with tiles, featuring a compound ridge stack. The first floor is tile-hung, while the ground floor is constructed of 19th-century red brick with a diaper pattern of blue headers and segmental window arches. A stone plinth runs along the base of the building. A lean-to extension forms the rear. The interior reveals much exposed timber, and a restored inglenook fireplace is present.
