Description

Nos 16 to 20 on Mill Street are three 18th-century houses that have been refaced with cement. They stand three storeys tall and feature a tiled roof with a wooden modillion eaves cornice. The front of the houses includes three triple sash windows with intact glazing bars, which are modified Venetian windows on the first floor. The ground floors have modern shop fronts. Notably, No 18 has an internal doorcase that includes an elliptical fanlight and reeded pilasters. These houses, along with Nos 16 to 22, form a group.
