Description

This is a late 16th-century barn situated at Higham Hall. It is constructed of red brick and is located on the south-west corner of the garden walls. The barn has pigeon holes built into the brickwork along its east side, and a gabled tiled roof supported by kingposts and curvilinear braces. A modern waggon porch has been added to the east side. A contemporary cross wing extends to the south, and this has been significantly altered. The original use of the barn is not certain.
