Description

Bower Cottage is a house dating from the 15th century or earlier. The exterior is of brick and rendered finish, with a tiled gabled roof. The south half of the house is the lower end of a Wealden house, featuring heavy timber joists. The hall area was rebuilt in the 17th century, but incorporates a chimney stack from the 16th century. The windows are casement type.
