Description

The Red Lion Public House dates from the early 19th century. It is a two-storey building with a hipped tiled roof featuring three hipped dormers. The front elevation is colourwashed, and retains five sash windows with original glazing bars. There are three simple doorcases, each with plain pilasters and architraves. A section of the side elevation is tile-hung. The building forms a group with numbers 3 to 7A (odd).
