Description

These railings, located about 6 metres south of Firs Farm, date from the late 18th century or early 19th century. They are made of painted iron and stand on a low brick plinth topped with vertically-tooled stone coping. The railings feature fleur-de-lys designs and spear-head newels, reaching a height of approximately 1.5 metres and extending about 18 metres across the front of the house. They are included in the listing for their group value.
