Description
Cobb Hall and Shrubbery House are two 18th century houses that share a single roof span and may have originally been one house. They are two storeys tall with an attic, constructed of red brick. The hipped tiled roof features an eaves cornice and one dormer. A red brick stringcourse runs along the building. There are nine sash windows with intact glazing bars and cambered head linings on the ground floor. Shrubbery House has two blank spaces on the first floor, a doorcase with pilasters, and a flat hood supported by unusual double brackets. The door features a slip rectangular fanlight and six moulded panels, with the two center panels cut away and glazed. Cobb Hall has a small square glazed porch that was added in the 19th century. On the ground floor of Cobb Hall, there are two letters 'C' placed back to back.
