Description

This is a chest tomb located about 10 meters south of the east end of the nave of the Church of St. Mary and St. Ethelburga. It dates from the early 18th century or earlier and is made of stone. The tomb features a deeply-chamfered lid, a buried plinth, and plain side panels. The inscription on the tomb was illegible at the time of the re-survey.
