Description

Portland House is an early 19th-century building located at 17 Dymchurch Road. It is two storeys tall and constructed of red brick, topped with a hipped tiled roof. The façade features three sash windows with intact glazing bars. The entrance has a doorcase with a pediment supported by brackets, leading to a six-panel moulded door, where the top two panels are cut away and glazed. Portland House is part of a group with Nos 13 to 17 (odd) and Nos 29 to 33 (odd) on Portland Road.
