Description

Corfu House is a 15th-century timber-framed house that was altered in the 18th century. It has two storeys and an attic. The northeast half of the house features painted brick on the ground floor, while the first floor is timbered and studded, overhanging on a bressummer and bracket. The southwest half, which slightly projects, is stuccoed on both floors. The house has a tiled roof with one hipped dormer that contains a fixed window. There are two sashes with intact glazing bars and a left-side outside chimney stack. The entrance has a simple doorcase. Corfu House is part of a group with Nos 4 to 8, which are consecutive.
