Description

No. 106 Dover Road is a building that consists of two sections. The right part dates from the 18th century and is three storeys high, constructed of painted brick with a parapet. It features three sash windows with intact glazing bars and a simple central doorcase that has a keystone and two semi-circular head linings, leading to a four flush panelled door. The left section is from the early to mid-19th century and consists of two parallel ranges, standing two storeys tall with a stuccoed exterior and a tiled roof that has a tile-hung end gable. This part includes two sash windows with verticals only and a loading door on the first floor, while the ground floor has cambered sashes, all set within moulded architraves. The central doorcase here has a cornice and two console brackets.
