Description

This is an 18th-century headstone located about 4 metres south of the porch of the Church of St. Michael in Hawkinge. It is made of stone and features a rounded head that is carved with a cherub's head surrounded by wings and scrolls. The inscription on the headstone was illegible at the time of the last survey.
