Description

The boundary walling is located midway along the Rope Walk between Woodnesborough Road and New Street. It consists of approximately 35 feet of flint walling, which includes some stone and features a brick-on-edge coping from the mid-19th century. There is also a return length of walling that runs at right angles to the stream. This structure is situated on the line of the medieval town wall and is likely of 14th-century origin.
