Description

This is a headstone dedicated to Edmund Gibbs, who died in 1762, and his wife, who died in 1757. It is located about 1 metre south of the nave of Elmstone Church. The headstone is made of stone and stands approximately 4 feet tall. It features a scrolled double head that is richly decorated, including two cherubs and the Gibbs coat of arms placed between them.
