Description

Old Milk Alley Flat is located at the rear of No 4 Market Street and dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century. The building features yellow and some red brick walls, with a roof that is partly covered in Dutch pantiles and partly in plain clay tiles. It has one casement sash window and one fixed light window, both with glazing bars. Additionally, there is a large Queen Anne sliding sash window divided into three parts, also with intact glazing bars. The entrance includes a six-panel door, with the two upper panels being glazed. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 4 to 24 (even) and Nos 2 and 4 Potter Street.
